This privacy policy of the mobile application Simple Scanner for Android or IOS devices that was created by TongSoft Information Co., Ltd. Hereinafter referred to as (TongSoft)

Your scanned documents

Your scanned documents are saved locally on your devices. Users are able to set up auto upload to cloud storage (Google Drive, Box, Dropbox or OneDrive) so that their data won't lost and they can access them anywhere. The upload process will run automatically when Simple Scanner app is in background. Simple Scanner requires App Folder permission only for cloud storage services. It means Simple Scanner only accesses (read, write and delete) files created by Simple Scanner app, our app can't access other user's data on their cloud service.

Sync documents in the cloud

We have added the function of synchronizing documents in the cloud. You need to register and log in to use it. You can synchronize your documents between multiple platforms and devices to ensure that the documents will not be lost. Regarding the automatic synchronization function, you can view it in the app. We use encryption protocols To protect your documents, documents are stored in Google cloud storage, and at the same time comply with Google's relevant policies and terms, you can use it with confidence, and if you have any questions, you can contact us at any time.

Login to Simple Scanner using Google account

Simple Scanner suggests users login to our system using Google account. User can use that account for all devices. Example: if account is upgraded to PRO, user can use that account to login to Simple Scanner on iOS. User will be charged only one time and use it forever with all his devices (both Android and iOS). The validation Google account process will be done by Google server, Simple Scanner will receive the result from Google server. On our server, each user has a record contains the basic information: email id (example: simple.scanner@outlook.com), account type (free or pro).

Protecting YOUR Privacy

It is TongSoft principle to respect the privacy of the personal information of our users. TongSoft will take reasonable measures to protect user’s personal information, without disclosing such information to any third party other than its Partners (without the consent of the user), unless such disclosure is (i) required by law, court order or competent government departments or (ii) agreed to by the user. Exceptions will be applied if the user selects to accept such disclosures during the registration process (where applicable), or is otherwise stipulated on the disclosure or use of a user’s personal information between the user and TongSoft and its Partners. The application also includes a fax function, using the Google firebase SDK, Google admob advertising SDK , Flurry Analytics, Google Analytics for Firebase Google Analytics for Firebase or Firebase Analytics is an analytics service provided by Google LLC or by Google Ireland Limited, depending on the location this Application is accessed from.
